Supplies: plastic collapsible transparent ball, transparent silicone glue, any kind of Christmas cards you want to use (few cards), acrylic colors, structure paste, acrylic putty, sparkles, varnish, masking tape.
Open the plastic ball, cut details you’ve chosen from Christmas cards.
Paint with the color you want one of the inner sides of the ball.
With the help of transparent silicone glue fix the bigger picture inside, then one by one add another details creating 3D effect.
Let it dry completely. Start decorating your 3D picture. We were using acrylic putty to create a “snow” effect.
If somebody has a structure or crystal pastes use them to create snow-drifts, use sparkles for snow glimmer effect. Let it dry.
Close the ball when our 3D construction is completely dry. To protect the transparent part of the ball from the stains, we would advise you to cover it with the masking tape.
Decorate the outer side of the ball. For our Christmas ball we were using acrylic paint, crackling varnish, varnish.
Your Christmas ball is ready.
In order not to decorate the outer side of the ball you can use the Under Glass Decoupage method (reserved decoupage) on the first stage, before you placing the pictures inside the ball.
